‘Wicked: For Good’ Announced as the Official Title for the Highly Anticipated Sequel

The highly anticipated sequel to Wicked: Part One is undergoing a title change ahead of its release. The second installment of the Jon M. Chu-directed film will now be called Wicked: For Good, PEOPLE confirms. Despite the update, the movie will still premiere on its original date: Friday, Nov. 21, 2025.

The news was shared by Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo — who star as Glinda and Elphaba, respectively — through a joint Instagram post on Monday, Dec. 16. “You will be changed. Wicked: For Good, only in theaters November 21, 2025.💚🩷,” Grande captioned, sharing the announcement with fans. Both actresses also posted countdowns to their Instagram Stories, noting there are 11 months and four days remaining until the sequel’s arrival.

The new title pays tribute to the emotional and iconic duet For Good from the Broadway musical. The song marks a turning point in the story as Glinda and Elphaba reconcile, their feud transforming into a heartfelt friendship. Grande and Erivo are expected to deliver a memorable rendition of the beloved piece in the film.

The Wicked movies are adapted from the Broadway musical, itself inspired by Gregory Maguire’s 1995 novel, Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West. The first film, which introduced audiences to the world of Oz through a fresh perspective, premiered on Nov. 22, 2024, ahead of Thanksgiving.

Director Jon M. Chu previously explained his decision to split Wicked into two films. In April 2022, Chu said on social media that condensing the story into a single movie would compromise its essence. “It became increasingly clear that it would be impossible to wrestle the story of Wicked into a single film without doing some real damage to it,” he tweeted. By creating two parts, Chu explained, they could honor the richness of the story while offering more depth to the journeys of Glinda, Elphaba, and other beloved characters.

Screenwriter Winnie Holzman, alongside composer Stephen Schwartz, producer Marc Platt, and Chu, echoed this sentiment in an interview with ScreenRant. They agreed there was simply “too much story for one movie,” making the two-part adaptation a necessity.

The star-studded cast of Wicked: For Good includes Jonathan Bailey (Bridgerton) as Fiyero, Jeff Goldblum as the Wizard, Michelle Yeoh as Madame Morrible, Ethan Slater as Boq, and Marissa Bode as Nessarose. Additional cast members include Bowen Yang as Pfannee, Bronwyn James as ShenShen, Keala Settle as Miss Coddle, Aaron Teoh as Avaric, and Colin Michael Carmichael as Professor Nikidik.

Despite the sequel being completed, Chu teased a possible appearance by Dorothy in Wicked: For Good. Speaking to Variety, Chu noted that while Dorothy is hinted at in the Broadway musical and teased briefly in the first film, her role in the sequel remains a mystery. “There’s a part of me that wants everyone’s Dorothy to be whatever Dorothy they want,” Chu said, leaving fans speculating about her potential involvement. “And yet, there is interaction and some crossover. So I’ll leave that up to Part Two.”

As fans eagerly await Wicked: For Good, it’s clear the second installment will continue the epic, emotional journey of Elphaba and Glinda while honoring the story’s themes of friendship, forgiveness, and change. With its powerhouse cast and deep musical roots, the sequel is set to be an unforgettable experience when it arrives in theaters next November.

Jennifer Garner Embraces Festive Holiday Style in a Throwback Candy-Cane Look

Jennifer Garner is fully embracing the holiday spirit with her perfectly on-theme style! On Sunday, Dec. 15, the actress shared a throwback photo on her Instagram Stories alongside Family Switch co-star Ed Helms, both dressed in coordinating candy-cane outfits. The snapshot was taken on the set of the 2023 Netflix Christmas film, which premiered earlier this year.

In the photo, Garner, 52, is seen donning a red-and-white striped strapless dress adorned with diagonal candy-cane patterns and a big red bow cinched at her waist. Her festive ensemble was completed with shiny red Mary Jane heels and a playful headband featuring red-and-white candy-cane sticks. To elevate the look further, she added white drop earrings, a bold red lip, and matching red nails.

Standing beside her, Helms, 50, brought his own playful twist to the candy-cane theme. He sported a giant striped candy-cane hat, a red-and-white waistcoat matching Garner’s ensemble, a white dress shirt, red bow tie, and bright red trousers. Completing his holiday look were red-and-white sneakers that tied everything together.

Garner gave credit where it was due, tagging her co-star Ed Helms and costume designer Susie DeSanto in the festive photo. DeSanto is no stranger to working with Garner, having previously designed costumes for her films Yes Day and the beloved 13 Going on 30.

In Family Switch, Garner plays a mom who hilariously swaps bodies with her teenage daughter, portrayed by Wednesday actress Emma Myers. Helms, who plays her on-screen husband, switches bodies with their teenage son, played by Brady Noon of Good Boys fame.

The festive throwback isn’t the first time Garner has shown off this candy-cane-inspired outfit. In November 2023, she posted a playful video on TikTok that showcased her transformation into the holiday look. The video began with Garner on set in casual attire — a relaxed navy blue T-shirt, loose jeans, and matching sneakers — as she smiled at the camera with her hands on her hips.

With a quick twirl and transition, she transformed into her candy-cane dress, complete with the whimsical headband and holiday-ready glam. The clip captured Garner twirling, kicking her leg in the air, shimmying her shoulders, and playfully approaching the camera, radiating joy.

Garner continued to embrace festive style beyond the set of Family Switch. For the Los Angeles premiere of the holiday film in November 2023, she stunned in a red mini dress that perfectly captured the holiday season’s vibrant spirit. The elegant dress featured an asymmetrical layered hem, and she paired it with black open-toe heels and statement dangling earrings embellished with sparkling details.

Jennifer Garner’s infectious holiday cheer, both on and off-screen, showcases her ability to effortlessly blend style, humor, and festivity — proving she’s as ready for the holidays as the rest of us!

Latest posts from Yvette Nicole Brown

Actress Yvette Nicole Brown, 53, best known for her role in Community, married Anthony Davis in a beautiful and intimate ceremony on Saturday, December 14. The wedding, described as “classy and fun,” took place at The Maybourne Beverly Hills in Los Angeles, surrounded by 200 of their closest family and friends.

Brown expressed no hesitation in marrying Davis, declaring confidently, “I had no nerves about marrying him—he’s the one for me, absolutely.”

One of the most poignant moments for Brown was walking down the aisle with her brother, Paris, who stepped in for her father, who has Alzheimer’s disease. The occasion was bittersweet as both Brown’s mother, who passed away in 2021, and Davis’ parents were not present. However, the couple found solace and joy in the support of their families.

In a touching surprise, Davis arranged for Brown’s father to attend the wedding, coordinating with his care facility to make it possible. Reflecting on the emotional day, Brown shared, “Even though it wasn’t the family roles we imagined, it was still so special to walk toward and with family.”

Brown walked down the aisle to music performed by violinist Alan Price, surrounded by elegant blush-colored floral arrangements by Eddie Zaratsian and Tic-Tock Couture Florals. Her bridal look featured a mermaid-style gown by designer Ines Di Santo, customized with two butterflies to honor both of their mothers. She discovered the dress during a fitting at Lovella Bridal in Glendale, California, and knew instantly it was the one. Her hair, styled by Gabrielle Corney, was accessorized with a Maria Elena headpiece, and her makeup, done by Beth Carter, featured Danessa Myricks Beauty products and Ardell lashes. Markeisha Similton provided additional styling support.

For Davis, the day was equally meaningful. He wore a custom brown suit by Vinny’s Custom Clothes, complemented by cufflinks inscribed with a handwritten note from Brown. Speaking about their connection, Davis said, “It’s like having one wing your whole life and finally finding your other wing—you can finally fly straight.”

The ceremony, officiated by Love McPherson and planned by William P. Miller, was followed by a cocktail hour with signature drinks and a dinner featuring sea bass and short rib. Guests were serenaded by harpist Mariea Antoinette and enjoyed a four-tier lemon and strawberry shortcake dessert adorned with fresh flowers by Cake Studio LA. The evening ended with dancing to DJ Kacy “Mister Wilson” Wilson and fun photo sessions in a 360-degree photo booth.

Brown and Davis’ love story began decades ago when they first met in their twenties. After losing touch for several years, they reconnected in 2021 when Davis reached out following the passing of Brown’s mother. Davis proposed during a visit to her hometown in Ohio, using a lottery scratch card that revealed the words, “Will you marry me?” Brown humorously recalls, “I thought I was going to win some money—but I won a man!”

While this is Davis’ second marriage, it marks Brown’s first. Reflecting on her journey, she shared her excitement about their future, saying, “I want to spend the next 30 years loving him, putting him first, and being his best friend.”

Brown also offered encouragement to single women, emphasizing that it’s never too late to find love. “When it’s the right person, there’s no chaos or confusion. You have peace, and everything just aligns.” She credited Davis for being clear, consistent, and dependable throughout their relationship, a stark contrast to past experiences.

Looking back on her big day, Brown said the wedding wasn’t just about celebrating her and Davis—it was about celebrating love itself. “For me, it’s about showing others that blessings and miracles are still possible. It’s not about everyone looking at me—it’s about everyone seeing what love can do.”

Her advice to others is simple: “Don’t settle. Be patient. When it’s right, you’ll know.”

For Yvette Nicole Brown, love arrived when she least expected it—and she couldn’t be happier to step into this new chapter as Mrs. Davis.

Elsa Pataky Celebrates Christmas with Her Family

The holiday spirit has officially arrived in Elsa Pataky’s home!

The 47-year-old model recently shared photos on Instagram of her family decorating their Christmas tree. Dressed in floral shorts and a white T-shirt, Pataky can be seen hanging ornaments alongside her kids. One picture captures her son standing on a ladder to place an ornament higher on the tree, while her 11-year-old daughter, India, carefully adds her touch.

In another shot, Pataky’s niece joins the festivities, sitting nearby as the actress decorates and poses for a cheerful photo by the tree.

“It’s beginning to look like Christmas!! / ya empieza la Navidad! #littleniecehelpingtoo,” she captioned the post.

Pataky shares three children—daughter India Rose, 11, and twin sons Sasha and Tristan, 9—with her husband, actor Chris Hemsworth, 40.

In October, Pataky and Hemsworth treated their kids to a fun family day, sharing a post about their “family race day.” Along with a video of the parents cheering on their kids during a dirt track race, the post featured a photo of Pataky and India posing together next to motorcycles. “Not competitive at all 🤣🤣,” Pataky jokingly wrote in the caption, which she also shared in Spanish.

Hemsworth has previously expressed his desire to teach his children the value of hard work and gratitude. In a 2017 interview with PEOPLE, he reflected on his own childhood, saying, “As a kid, we had very little money, and my parents saved up all year just to afford a two-week camping vacation. Financially, we’re in a different position, but I want to make sure [my kids] know these things don’t come easy. You have to work for it and never take it for granted.”

The family is known for their playful and loving bond. Earlier this year, Hemsworth celebrated Sasha and Tristan’s 9th birthday with a hilarious Instagram post showing Pataky playfully pushing one of the boys’ faces into a chocolate cake. “Happy 9th birthday to my two little men!” Hemsworth captioned the photo. He humorously added, “‘Hey mum, I don’t like chocolate cake, I prefer vanilla.’ ‘Oh really son? What about now?’”

With festive moments like these, the Pataky-Hemsworth household is clearly embracing the joy of the season!

Latest posts from Ashley Tisdale

Ashley Tisdale recently shared how her journey with alopecia has shaped her approach to haircare and self-care. Diagnosed with alopecia areata in her mid-20s after noticing a bald spot at her hairline during a visit to her colorist, the 39-year-old actress and singer has since made significant changes to her routine.

Speaking in an exclusive interview, Tisdale revealed that she now prioritizes being kinder to her hair and scalp. “I used to experiment a lot with hair colors, bleaching, and extensions, but I’ve stopped doing that,” she explained. “I haven’t been bright blonde in years, and I’ve learned to treat my hair better instead of taking it for granted.”

Alopecia areata, an autoimmune condition with no known cure, can be challenging to manage. “The hardest part is the uncertainty,” Tisdale said. “You don’t know when it’s going to flare up or how severe it will be.” Stress has been a key trigger for her flare-ups, which typically occur every few years. “If I notice a bald spot, it’s a reminder that I need to calm down and reduce my stress levels,” she added.

Globally, alopecia areata affects 160 million people, including nearly 7 million in the United States, according to the National Alopecia Areata Foundation. Tisdale recently partnered with Pfizer and Litfulo, an FDA-approved treatment for severe cases of the condition in individuals aged 12 and older. While she doesn’t use the medication herself, she believes the partnership is vital for raising awareness and educating others about available treatment options.

“When I was first diagnosed, I felt lost because I didn’t know what to do,” Tisdale admitted. “It’s reassuring to know there are treatments now and that people don’t have to feel as alone as I did back then.”

The High School Musical alum emphasized how deeply hair loss can impact self-esteem, especially for young people. “Hair is such an important part of how we see ourselves, and experiencing hair loss can be really scary,” she said. “But knowing you’re not alone and that there are solutions out there makes a huge difference.”

Latest posts from Kate Hudson

Kate Hudson is embracing the holiday spirit solo this year, and she’s finding joy in the process. The 45-year-old actress and singer shared a glimpse of her Christmas preparations with her fans on Instagram and TikTok, joking about how a once-family tradition has turned into a one-woman mission.

“Started as a family tradition, ended as a solo mission… with wine 🙃🎄,” Kate captioned her Dec. 12 Instagram post, which included a carousel of festive photos. In the first snap, she’s all smiles, sitting in front of her beautifully decorated Christmas tree with a glass of wine in hand. Dressed in a cozy green sweater set, Kate radiates holiday cheer despite her solo efforts.

Other images from the post show the Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery star sipping her wine and meticulously hanging ornaments on her tree. Her brother, Oliver Hudson, couldn’t resist poking fun in the comments, writing, “I wasn’t involved with this in any way, so I’m not sure what new family you’ve got going on. I’m telling Mom.”

On the same day, Kate shared more details about her solo decorating experience in a TikTok video. Explaining why she was tackling the tree alone, she said, “My kids just decided they were over it. So, I have to finish up by myself.”

In the playful video, Kate got up from her chair and began hanging decorations on the tree while singing a remix of “Holly Jolly Christmas,” changing the lyrics to: “It’s a lonely, lonely Christmas / just me decorating here / Everywhere there’s usually children / but tonight it’s just me alone / sad and lonely mom.” She added with a laugh, “Maybe I should have a Negroni.”

The How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days actress also called out to her eldest son, Ryder Russell Robinson, 20, hoping for some company. “Honey? Anybody? Anybody wanna drink with me? Maybe just a little white wine, that might be nice,” she joked. However, Ryder never made an appearance in the TikTok, leaving Kate to finish decorating the tree—whom she nicknamed “Bertha”—on her own.

Despite the solo effort, Kate made it clear she was enjoying herself. Her humor and lighthearted approach to the holidays resonated with fans, many of whom related to her experience of finding joy in small, personal traditions.

Kate is a proud mom of three children: Ryder, whom she shares with ex-husband Chris Robinson of The Black Crowes; 13-year-old Bingham Hawn Bellamy, whom she welcomed with ex-fiancé Matt Bellamy of Muse; and 6-year-old Rani Rose Hudson Fujikawa, her daughter with fiancé Danny Fujikawa.

While her kids opted out of decorating this year, Kate proved she could still create a festive and heartwarming atmosphere on her own—with a glass of wine and her sense of humor in tow.

Rachel Leviss Speaks Out on James Kennedy’s Arrest and Past Allegations

Vanderpump Rules star James Kennedy arrested on domestic violence charges

On Friday, Dec. 13, Leviss, 30, shared a screenshot on Instagram from a TMZ article about Kennedy’s domestic violence arrest. Over the screenshot, she linked to her April podcast episode titled Bad At Love and wrote, “The amount of times I convinced myself that the abuse I endured by James Kennedy Georgiou was a ‘misunderstanding’ is sickening.”

Kennedy, 32, was arrested on Dec. 10 after police were called to his Los Angeles home regarding a domestic dispute. The Burbank Police Department determined it was a domestic incident, leading to his arrest on a misdemeanor domestic violence charge. He was later released on $20,000 bail, with formal charges still under review.

TMZ reported that a witness saw Kennedy allegedly become physical with an unidentified woman, though authorities noted no visible injuries. Kennedy’s girlfriend, Ally Lewber, was reportedly with him earlier that evening at a holiday party.

Leviss’ attorneys, Mark Geragos and Bryan Freedman, issued a statement saying, “This news is, unfortunately, not surprising. Rachel’s lawsuit outlines Mr. Kennedy’s history of erratic, violent behavior and substance abuse.” They also alleged that the production company behind Vanderpump Rules and NBC have covered up Kennedy’s behavior for years.

Kennedy’s attorneys responded by stating they are conducting their own investigation and expressed hope that formal charges would not be filed, emphasizing the absence of injuries.

Leviss has previously accused Kennedy of emotional and physical abuse during their five-year relationship. In legal filings, she described him as having “violent outbursts” and a history of substance abuse. She also detailed incidents, including one where Kennedy allegedly kicked her family’s dog during a Thanksgiving visit.

Leviss further claimed that Kennedy’s behavior was known by Bravo, the show’s production team, and cast members, but no action was taken due to intervention from Lisa Vanderpump, who allegedly protected him.

Randy Moss reveals cancer diagnosis

Randy Moss has opened up for the first time about his cancer diagnosis and treatment. On Friday, Dec. 13, the 47-year-old former Minnesota Vikings wide receiver and current ESPN analyst shared his story in an Instagram Live session from his home, where he appeared using a cane for support.

Moss revealed that he sought medical attention after noticing his urine was discolored, leading to a diagnosis of cancer in the bile duct located between his pancreas and liver. “They found it in the bile duct right between the pancreas and the liver, and that the cancer was sitting right outside the bile duct,” Moss explained.

The NFL legend disclosed that he underwent the first of several surgeries on Thanksgiving to have a stent inserted into his liver. On Dec. 7, Moss endured a six-hour Whipple procedure, a complex surgery often used to treat tumors and conditions in the pancreas, bile ducts, and small intestine. He spent six days in the hospital following the operation and expressed gratitude to the doctors and nurses in Charlotte, N.C., who cared for him.

Moss revealed he will continue his recovery with chemotherapy and radiation. He used the opportunity to encourage others, particularly Black men, to prioritize regular cancer screenings. “By the grace of God, my liver started acting up,” Moss said, reflecting on how fortunate he was to catch the condition early. “I didn’t think I would ever be in a position like this, as healthy as I thought I was.”

Moss has taken a leave of absence from his role at ESPN, with the network voicing its full support for his recovery. “For nearly a decade, Randy has been an invaluable member of the team, consistently elevating Countdown with his insight and passion,” ESPN said in a statement. “We look forward to welcoming him back when he is ready.”

During his Instagram Live, Moss shared his hope of returning to broadcasting and announced plans to launch a new fundraiser featuring “Let’s Moss Cancer” t-shirts, with some proceeds benefiting cancer research.

Earlier this week, Moss’s son, Thaddeus, criticized sports journalist Larry Fitzgerald Sr. for publicly sharing details about his father’s diagnosis before Moss himself had disclosed it.

Moss, who was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2018, enjoyed a remarkable 14-year NFL career, playing for teams such as the Vikings, Oakland Raiders, and New England Patriots. He holds multiple records, including the second-most touchdown receptions in NFL history (156) and the single-season touchdown reception record (23), which he achieved in 2007 with the Patriots.
