Chloe Fineman Talks SNL Sketch with Her Dog Peach and Holiday Hosting Tips

Chloe Fineman recently reflected on her favorite Saturday Night Live holiday sketch, which features her dog, Peach. In a conversation with PEOPLE, Fineman revealed that the sketch, titled “Christmas Morning” (aired December 2020), starred herself alongside Kristen Wiig, Beck Bennett, and Kyle Mooney. The sketch humorously depicts a mom (played by Wiig) receiving only a robe for Christmas while her family gets an array of exciting gifts.

Fineman, playing a child in the sketch, revealed that her dog Peach made a surprise appearance. Due to the dog handler’s absence because of COVID-19, she snuck Peach onto the set. She shared how they used peanut butter to get Peach to perform “dog acting,” with Kristen Wiig holding the pup, making the moment even more special for Fineman as Wiig is one of her idols.

The comedian also discussed her collaboration with Instacart for a holiday campaign. As part of the promotion, she introduced a clever hosting tool called the Stress Baster—a hybrid of a turkey baster and stress ball designed to alleviate cooking-related tension. The product will be available via Instacart’s TikTok and Instagram starting December 10.

Fineman shared advice for first-time holiday hosts, recommending Instacart to streamline preparations and avoid overextending themselves during the busy season.
