Beyoncé to perform at NFL Christmas game on Netflix

Beyoncé is set to deliver an unforgettable performance during the halftime show of the Houston Texans vs. Baltimore Ravens game on Dec. 25, as part of Netflix’s first-ever NFL Christmas Gameday. Taking place at NRG Stadium in her hometown of Houston, the show will air live during the second of two games, following the Kansas City Chiefs vs. Pittsburgh Steelers matchup.

The 43-year-old superstar teased the event in an Instagram video posted on Nov. 17. The clip features Beyoncé standing atop a vintage car adorned with red roses, a cappella strains of her song “AMERIICAN REQUIEM” playing in the background. Dressed in patriotic attire and a white cowboy hat, Beyoncé catches a football before the video transitions to a title card revealing details about the performance.

This announcement follows a historic milestone for Beyoncé, who recently became the most-nominated artist in Grammy history with 99 nominations. The Recording Academy confirmed the achievement after revealing the 2025 Grammy nominations on Nov. 8. Beyoncé is also the most-awarded artist in Grammy history, holding 32 wins.

Her latest album, Cowboy Carter, earned 11 Grammy nominations, including several in country music categories, marking a new chapter in her illustrious career. Notable nominations include Best Country Solo Performance for “16 CARRIAGES,” Best Country Duo/Group Performance for “II MOST WANTED” with Miley Cyrus, and Best Country Album.

NFL Christmas Gameday will mark a groundbreaking collaboration between the NFL and Netflix, with Beyoncé’s halftime show adding a special touch to the holiday event. Fans can tune in on Dec. 25 for what promises to be an iconic performance.
