While the couple has not officially confirmed their marriage, Jon Bon Jovi verified the news during an appearance on BBC’s “The One Show.” When asked about the rumors of his son’s secret marriage to the “Damsel” actress, Bon Jovi confirmed, stating that the newlyweds are doing well. He described the wedding as a small affair and praised Millie, saying she looked gorgeous.
The wedding took place roughly a year after Brown announced her engagement to Bongiovi in April 2023. Bon Jovi said, “They’re great, they’re absolutely fantastic. It was a very small, family wedding and the bride looked gorgeous and Jake is happy as can be. Yeah, it’s true.”

A source close to the couple mentioned, “Millie and Jake quietly said their vows in America last weekend. They are planning a bigger ceremony in the US later this year but now they have legally married and done all the paperwork. It was a very low-key, romantic affair with their closest family with them as they said their vows.”

She recounted how Jake Bongiovi proposed underwater, presenting her with a shell that contained a ring. Though she accepted the proposal, the ring slipped from her finger and fell underwater. Bongiovi bravely dove to retrieve it despite warnings about the risks. He successfully recovered the ring, and once they surfaced, he proposed again with a ring that belonged to Brown’s mother.
