Nicole Kidman stars in Babygirl, an upcoming erotic drama from A24, pushing boundaries as Romy, a high-powered CEO caught in a risky affair with a young intern, Samuel, played by Harris Dickinson. The second trailer, released on November 19, highlights the tension-filled dynamic between the characters, including Samuel’s provocative assertion of power over Romy.
Directed by Halina Reijn (Bodies Bodies Bodies), the film also features Antonio Banderas as Romy’s husband and Sophie Wilde as her ambitious assistant. Kidman emphasized the trust between her and Dickinson in creating the film’s intimate scenes, stating that their collaboration fostered an environment of comfort and creativity. Dickinson echoed this, noting the focus on quality over time pressures during filming.
