Giulia’s WWE Debut Delayed Due to Injury

Giulia’s WWE Debut Delayed Due to Injury

It seems WWE’s initial plans for Giulia might have hit a snag. Before joining WWE full-time later this year, Giulia was helping to build Rossy Ogawa’s new Marigold promotion, emerging as one of its top stars. However, she recently suffered a fractured right wrist during a match at Marigold’s debut event on May 20, leading to her withdrawal from all upcoming shows.

Marigold announced Giulia’s injury on Twitter, stating that she would miss their upcoming events due to the fracture. This setback comes just as Giulia was set to transition to WWE, with expectations for her to join the Performance Center in late June or early July.

Initially, WWE had tentative plans for Giulia to challenge for one of NXT’s women’s titles at Heatwave on July 7. However, with Giulia now sidelined indefinitely, these plans may need to be reconsidered.
