Tales of the Rays: Changes and Book Update
On February 28, 2017, the iOS and Android RPG made its debut in Japan. A global version followed on July 24, 2017, but its run was short-lived, concluding less than a year later on May 29, 2018.
With the recent announcement, all in-game currency sales have ceased, and sales of the Full Voice Pack will end on June 20. Bandai Namco has launched the “2,703 Days Thank-You Finale Campaign,” running from May 22 until the service’s conclusion in July, culminating with the release of the final scenario.
In July, an offline version of Tales of the Rays is set to launch, allowing players to transfer some data from the live version. While certain features like battles, scenario logs, and the encyclopedia will be retained in the offline version, including collaborations, Recollection scenarios and event scenarios will not be automatically unlocked. Additionally, a new scenario titled “A Story of Truth and Memories” will be introduced.
Bandai Namco also disclosed plans for the release of the Tales of the Rays Memorial Book this fall, priced at 13,200 yen. Pre-orders are open from today through July 31 via movic. The set comprises two A4-size volumes spanning approximately 600 pages.
