Sienna Miller Named Ambassador for The King’s Foundation

Sienna Miller has recently aligned herself with King Charles’ charitable endeavors as the newest ambassador for The King’s Foundation. Announced on December 12, the actress joins the organization to support its mission of fostering communities and transforming lives through educational programs focused on traditional skills and sustainability.

The King’s Foundation, established in 1990 by King Charles when he was the Prince of Wales, works to promote sustainability and preserve traditional craftsmanship, including textiles and embroidery. Miller, who was raised in London, shares a personal passion for the foundation’s goals, particularly in the area of textiles. She expressed her excitement about the role, noting her enthusiasm for supporting young talent in the industry.

Her appointment was celebrated at the foundation’s annual Christmas carol service at St. Paul’s Church in Knightsbridge, London. During the event, Miller gave a reading of Sir John Betjeman’s poem “Christmas” alongside Angelica Ellis, an embroidery graduate of The King’s Foundation and CHANEL Metiers d’art Embroidery Fellowship. Miller showcased her support for the foundation by wearing a navy double-breasted cashmere jumpsuit crafted by the organization’s textiles students, paired with red accessories and a gold necklace.

In a statement about her new role, Miller said she was “thrilled” to represent the foundation, emphasizing its ethos of sustainability and connection to the natural world. “I’m particularly looking forward to exploring my interest in textiles and textile production, an area where the foundation has immense expertise,” she said.

Miller has already been actively involved with the organization, including a visit to Dumfries House in September 2023 to learn more about its work and attending the annual Awards Ceremony at St. James’s Palace, where she presented the Young Entrepreneur of the Year award to designer and King’s Foundation graduate Isabelle Pennington-Edmead.

Miller’s appointment follows that of David Beckham, who became an ambassador in June 2023. Beckham has also supported the foundation’s efforts to preserve traditional crafts, particularly through its Metiers d’art Fellowship program. This program, based at Highgrove Gardens, inspires students through the garden’s flora and provides hands-on opportunities to develop their skills in embroidery and textiles.

Kirstina Murrin, Chief Executive of The King’s Foundation, praised Miller’s appointment, expressing delight at her involvement and dedication to the foundation’s mission of building sustainable communities and transforming lives globally.

Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco Are Engaged

Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco are officially engaged! The 32-year-old singer and actress announced the happy news on Instagram on Wednesday, Dec. 11. She shared a carousel of photos, including a close-up of her stunning engagement ring and a joyful snapshot of the couple celebrating with laughter and a hug. Her caption read, “forever begins now..,” while Blanco sweetly commented, “hey wait… that’s my wife.”

Gomez also shared a mirror selfie on her Instagram Stories, proudly showing off her new ring.

Blanco, 36, hinted at his plans for the future during a May appearance on The Howard Stern Show, saying, “When I look at her … I’m always just like, I don’t know a world where it could be better than this.”

The couple first met years ago, collaborating on the 2019 single “I Can’t Get Enough” with Tainy and J Balvin. They started dating in June 2023, and their relationship became Instagram official in December 2023 when Gomez liked fan posts about the couple and commented, “He is my absolute everything in my heart.” They made their red carpet debut together at the 2024 Emmys in January.

In a February 2024 interview with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe, Gomez shared her thoughts on their relationship, saying, “It’s really important to meet someone that respects you. It’s also nice to lean on someone who understands the world I live in. Overall, it’s the safest I feel, and it’s been really lovely. I’ve only grown through it.”

Before meeting Blanco, Gomez revealed in a May interview with TIME that she had spent five years single and had planned to adopt a child at 35 if she hadn’t found a partner. She reflected, “It just happens when you least expect it.”

Over the course of their relationship, the couple frequently shared sweet tributes to each other on social media. In March, Gomez celebrated Blanco’s birthday, writing, “Happy birthday, baby! Your emotional endurance, positive disposition, unbelievable talent, undeniable humor, and loving, kind heart absolutely kill me.” Blanco, for his part, told WSJ. Magazine in May that it took him a while to realize his feelings for Gomez, describing it as a “Clueless moment” where he suddenly realized, “Wait, I’m in love.”

By July, Gomez shared more moments with Blanco on Instagram, captioning a series of cozy photos, “Thank you for sharing your life with me today and every day 🙂.”

Congratulations to the happy couple as they begin this exciting new chapter together!

Sullivan chimed in to describe life with their twins as “wild,” while Farago confessed that sleepless nights have taken a toll. “My brain still doesn’t work. It hasn’t worked since the pregnancy. My brain belongs to these two little babies,” she shared.

The proud mom explained how unique Locket and Poetry are, both in appearance and personality. However, their twin connection remains strong. “They love sleeping together. They love cuddling,” she said, adding that they often calm each other when one gets fussy.

Kate Middleton’s New Chapter: Embracing Her Role as Future Queen Amid Health Challenges

Princess Kate Middleton recently marked a heartwarming milestone with her annual Christmas carol service at Westminster Abbey on December 6. The event, attended by her husband, Prince William, and their children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, carried special significance this year. It marked her first major public appearance since completing chemotherapy in September, following a challenging year of health struggles.

Dressed in a festive red Alexander McQueen coat, Kate appeared poised as she walked down the aisle with her family in front of 1,600 guests. This year’s service was the fourth she’s hosted since 2020, but it was particularly poignant given her journey with cancer. In a candid exchange with British pop star Paloma Faith, who performed at the service, Kate reflected, “I didn’t know this year was going to be the year that I’ve just had.”

Kate’s health challenges have brought significant changes to her perspective as she balances her recovery and increasing royal responsibilities. With the passing of Queen Elizabeth in September 2022 and King Charles’ ongoing battle with cancer, the weight of her future role as Queen has become more evident. Adding to the family’s challenges, Queen Camilla recently stepped back from engagements due to pneumonia. These events have highlighted the fragility of the royal family and underscored the importance of preparing for the future.

Royal biographer Sally Bedell Smith notes that William has stepped into more responsibilities as King Charles focuses on his health. “William and Kate are preparing for their future roles sooner than expected,” she explains. According to an insider, this transitional period has allowed the couple to reassess priorities. “There’s a sense of calm before the storm. Kate’s health has been the top priority, but it’s also given everyone time to reflect on what truly matters.”

As the couple looks to the future, their growing responsibilities are evident. On December 7, William represented King Charles at the reopening of Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris, where he met with U.S. President-elect Donald Trump. During their meeting, William shared updates on both his wife’s recovery and his father’s health.

Friends and close sources say Kate’s experience with cancer has reshaped her focus, both at home and in her royal duties. “Life-threatening illnesses bring a reconsideration of priorities,” shares one insider. For now, Kate is easing back into public life, prioritizing family time and selecting engagements carefully to avoid setbacks. She is expected to join William for high-profile occasions and engagements already on his schedule.

Experts emphasize that Kate’s return to public duties will not follow a rigid timeline. Ailsa Anderson, Queen Elizabeth’s former press secretary, notes, “The strategy of unplanned visits gives her flexibility and relieves the pressure of constant commitments.” Royal author Robert Hardman adds, “This isn’t a chapter that’s over—it’s an ongoing journey, as cancer remains an unpredictable disease.”

This Christmas, the Prince and Princess of Wales, along with their children, will spend time at Sandringham with King Charles, participating in family celebrations and traditional activities. As Kate continues her recovery, her focus remains on her family and gradual return to public life when her health permits. Friends believe her strength and determination will guide her as she navigates this new chapter.

Latest posts from Justin Baldoni

While appearing on Live with Kelly and Mark on December 10 to promote the Netflix release of It Ends with Us, actor and filmmaker Justin Baldoni shared fond memories of his creative 27-minute marriage proposal to his wife, Emily Baldoni.

Baldoni, 40, began the interview by complimenting hosts Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos on their enduring marriage, calling their relationship “adorable” and inspiring. Reflecting on his own union, he noted, “In Hollywood, 11 years feels like 70.”

Ripa brought up Justin’s now-viral engagement video, which features him lip-syncing and acting in a comedic boy band-inspired segment. The video, however, was part of a much larger, heartfelt proposal.

Justin had secretly rented out Blu Jam Cafe, the spot where he and Emily had their first date. Hidden cameras captured Emily’s reactions as she watched a pre-filmed video of Justin’s “proposal journey,” which included humorous moments, a secret-agent-themed mini movie, and a montage of their happiest memories.

“It was my first movie,” Baldoni joked. “The idea was that I kept failing at proposals because I was doing them the way I wanted, not the way she would want. That’s something I’ve learned in marriage—loving someone the way they want to be loved.”

After the clip played on the show, Baldoni revealed that the friends featured in the boy band scenes were among his closest.

The thoughtful and humorous proposal is just one example of Baldoni’s creative approach to storytelling, a skill he continues to showcase in his filmmaking career.

It Ends with Us is now available to stream on Netflix.

Trisha Paytas Takes on Broadway with One-Night-Only Show

Trisha Paytas Takes on Broadway with One-Night-Only Show

Trisha Paytas is stepping into the spotlight on Broadway! Fresh off her Saturday Night Live cameo and a successful holiday tour, the 36-year-old internet personality and host of the Just Trish podcast is set to perform a one-night-only variety show titled Trisha Paytas’ Big Broadway Dream. The show will take place at the iconic St. James Theatre in New York City on Monday, February 3.

“I’m absolutely floored,” Paytas shared with PEOPLE about the announcement, which she revealed during her “Trishmas Live” show at the Beacon Theatre on December 9. The production, helmed by Kobi Kassal and George Strus, came to life after an April Fool’s Day joke earlier this year. Kassal’s site, Theatrely, humorously claimed Paytas was cast as Roxie Hart in Chicago, sparking excitement among fans.

“I knew it wasn’t real because no one approached me,” Paytas recounted, “but people were so happy for me. I thought, ‘Wow, this is wild.’” The buzz caught the attention of Kassal and Strus, who decided to turn the joke into reality. “They told me, ‘We’re actually going to do it.’ And before I knew it, we had a date and a venue. It still feels surreal.”

For Paytas, this is more than just a performance—it’s the fulfillment of a lifelong dream. Inspired by Donny Osmond’s performance in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat as a child, Paytas always dreamed of the stage. Though her school theater days were limited to ensemble roles in productions like Annie and The Music Man, she never stopped dreaming. Over the years, she created musical theater-inspired videos, where she performed songs like “Don’t Forget Me” from Smash and recreated scenes from shows like Little Shop of Horrors and Beetlejuice.

“I really believed those videos might lead to something,” Paytas admitted. “It probably sounded delusional to some people, especially since I’m not formally trained. But what I lack in talent, I make up for with passion.”

Though she’s entering uncharted territory, Paytas is ready to give it her all. She’s begun preparing with vocal lessons and hinted that the show will feature a full ensemble, theatrical tricks, and plenty of spectacle. “This is going to be a huge production,” she said. “It’s bigger than life.”

Beyond realizing her own dreams, Paytas is excited to share the moment with her family. Her two-year-old daughter, Malibu Barbie, and her baby son, Elvis, will get to see her take center stage. “Malibu loves singing, so I hope one day she’ll think this is cool,” Paytas said. “I want to show her—and everyone—that no matter where you come from or what you’ve been through, you can make your dreams happen.”

Paytas’ journey hasn’t always been smooth. Known in the past for controversial and attention-seeking behavior, she’s recently focused on personal growth, mental health, and leaving behind the drama of her earlier internet fame. “Having my daughter changed everything for me,” Paytas reflected. “I wanted to be better for her—to be someone she could be proud of.”

Now, Paytas is embracing a new chapter in her career, having signed with talent agency CAA earlier this year. “For a long time, I thought negativity was the only way to get attention. But I’ve had more success now by just being myself,” she said.

As for what’s next, Paytas isn’t ruling anything out. “If this is my only Broadway moment, I’ll be happy. But I’d love to do more—maybe even a movie musical. If they bring back Joseph, I’d love to be a part of it.”

Tickets for Trisha Paytas’ Big Broadway Dream go on sale December 13, with a portion of the proceeds benefiting the Entertainment Community Fund. Fans can also watch via a live-stream option.

Kelly Ripa’s Festive Fixes for Christmas at Home

Kelly Ripa

Kelly Ripa isn’t letting a construction site outside her New York City townhouse dampen her festive spirit. During the Dec. 9 episode of Live with Kelly and Mark, the 54-year-old host shared how she turned the eyesore into a holiday display.

“We decorated the construction site,” she explained, showing off the structure adorned with a giant red bow and topped with an inflatable snowman. While her husband and co-host Mark Consuelos, 53, wasn’t thrilled with the snowman at first, Ripa joked that neighborhood dogs now love it, using the display as their “pee present.”

Inside their home, Ripa faced a different challenge: a Christmas tree too large for the space. “It was like a scene from National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation,” she said, describing how the massive tree stood three feet taller than their ceiling. They eventually replaced it with what she humorously called “Treezempic” or “Pinejaro” – a slimmer, more manageable tree.

The couple had to get creative, tucking their 33-year-old ornament collection deep into the tree’s fragile branches, which struggled to hold even the lightest decorations. Despite the hiccups, Ripa’s humor and creativity brought festive charm to her home, proving that holiday spirit can shine through any obstacle.

Janelle and Meri Brown Reflect on Past Marriages and Embrace New Beginnings on Sister Wives

‘Sister Wives’ episode recap

Janelle Brown recently reflected on the events surrounding her wedding to her now ex-husband, Kody Brown, during the December 8 episode of Sister Wives. Janelle, 55, accompanied her daughter, Maddie Brush, to Utah to help Christine Brown select a wedding dress for her upcoming marriage to David Woolley. This experience prompted Janelle to recall her own unconventional wedding to Kody.

“I didn’t have a traditional wedding dress,” Janelle shared in a confessional. “When Kody and I got married, my family was very unhappy with my choice to join the faith. Most of them weren’t speaking to me at the time.” She added that she wore a simple green dress to the wedding.

Janelle revealed that her mother was the only family member present at the ceremony, though under unique circumstances. “My mom came initially to ‘save me’ from the polygamist lifestyle, but she ended up marrying Kody’s dad three months before we got married. So, she was fine with it, but the rest of my family wasn’t supportive and didn’t attend.”

Janelle was spiritually married to Kody from 1993 to 2022. Before that, she was married to Adam Barber, the brother of Kody’s first wife, Meri Brown, from 1988 to 1990. Reflecting on her future, Janelle said, “If I get married again, I probably won’t wear a big white dress. I’ll likely keep it simple—maybe even get married on a mountain in my jeans.”

The episode also featured Meri Brown reflecting on her past relationship with Kody. At lunch with friends, she discussed her lingering feelings about their marriage, which officially ended in January 2023 after their church recognized its termination. Meri’s friends encouraged her to embrace the positive aspects of her time with Kody while looking ahead.

In her confessional, Meri said, “It was a good time with him, but now it’s over, and I feel like I’m truly moving forward. Eventually, I’ll find someone new, and who knows what the future holds.”

Joe Jonas Opens Up About Life in Miami and Upcoming Album

Joe Jonas recently reflected on his life in Miami, where he’s lived for the past seven years. Speaking at The Wellness Oasis event during Art Basel/Miami Art Week, the 35-year-old musician shared how he “fell in love” with the city.

“Honestly, it is grounding,” Jonas said, addressing common misconceptions about Miami. “People think it’s just clubs everywhere, but you can also go to the beach, relax, and watch the sunset.” He described the city as “really beautiful” and praised its slower pace of life, which he finds essential for his well-being.

The event, held on December 5 and 6 at 1 Hotel South Beach, brought together wellness advocates like Dr. Deepak Chopra, Goldie Hawn, Big Sean, and others. Jonas spoke about the impact Miami has had on his music, revealing that it’s inspired him to explore Cuban Jazz.

As an artist, Jonas reflected on the balance between vulnerability and mystery in songwriting. “You’re so vulnerable when you release music or perform on stage,” he said. “But I love the challenge of creating songs that are relatable to many people while sharing my heart.”

Jonas also revealed that he has a new album on the way, saying, “I realized I had more to say and more life I’ve lived, so I made sure to include that in this album. It’s a lot of songs, but I can’t wait to share them.”

Miami, with its mix of culture and calm, continues to inspire Jonas as both an artist and a resident.
