‘General Hospital’ actor Johnny Wactor shot and killed in robbery incident
Actor Johnny Wactor known for his role in the TV show General Hospital, tragically lost his life on Saturday morning in Los Angeles during an attempted robbery. He was only 37 years old.
Reports indicate that at 3:30 am, Wactor was with a colleague in downtown LA when he noticed three masked individuals trying to steal a catalytic converter from his car. Upon confronting the thieves, Wactor was fatally shot by one of them. The perpetrator then fled the scene in a vehicle, according to TMZ.
Wactor was rushed to a nearby hospital but, unfortunately, succumbed to his injuries.
Wactor gained recognition for portraying the character Brando Corbin in General Hospital. The show’s team expressed their condolences, stating, “He was a pleasure to work with each and every day. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his loved ones during this difficult time.”
In addition to his role in General Hospital, Wactor appeared in other popular TV shows and projects such as Station 19, Westworld, and Call of Duty: Vanguard.
