Oasis Announces Reunion Tour After 15-Year Split, Set to Celebrate 30th Anniversary of Definitely Maybe

Oasis is officially reuniting after a 15-year hiatus, following years of speculation and anticipation from fans. Noel and Liam Gallagher have confirmed that their iconic band will embark on a reunion tour next year, with 14 dates already set.

“This is it, this is happening,” a post on Oasis’ social media announced, heralding the Oasis Live ’25 tour.

The brothers, who are famous for their hit songs “Wonderwall” and “Don’t Look Back in Anger,” appear to have resolved the longstanding feud that caused their split in 2009. The reunion coincides with the 30th anniversary of their debut album, Definitely Maybe.

The band has scheduled 14 shows across the U.K. and Ireland, starting in Cardiff, Wales, on July 4, with multiple performances in Manchester and London’s Wembley Stadium. They also hinted at plans to extend the tour beyond Europe later in the year.

In a statement on their website, the band said, “The guns have fallen silent. The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come see. It will not be televised.”

Tickets for the U.K. dates go on sale this Saturday through various platforms, including Ticketmaster.

Liam Gallagher had recently hinted at the reunion on social media, responding to reports that the brothers had reconciled by tweeting, “See you down the front.”

Oasis gained fame with their sophomore album, (What’s the Story) Morning Glory?, and are known for their hits “Stop Crying Your Heart Out” and “Champagne Supernova.” Their infamous off-stage rivalry often attracted as much attention as their music. After their split in 2009, both pursued solo careers, and many fans doubted they would ever reunite. Liam, however, recently tweeted that he “never did like that word FORMER,” referring to the label of “former bandmates” that had been used for the brothers during their time apart.
