In a recent Instagram video, Victoria Beckham shared her secret for achieving the perfect smoky eye using just one product: the Victoria Beckham Satin Kajal Liner in Cocoa. As a self-professed minimalist when it comes to makeup, the idea of a simple yet glamorous eye look intrigued me, especially after binge-watching the “Beckham” docuseries on Netflix.

Following Beckham’s tutorial, I sharpened my liner with precision and applied it delicately along my upper lash line, as instructed. Despite initial nerves, I found the creamy texture of the liner easy to work with, allowing for a precise application. Beckham’s technique of applying tiny dots between the lower lashes for added definition was a game-changer for me, creating the illusion of denser lashes.

Transitioning to the smoky eye phase, I followed Beckham’s lead in rubbing the liner onto my hand for blending. While she emphasized the long-lasting nature of the product, I found it surprisingly easy to blend, resulting in a seamless transition of color on my lids.

Using the sponge end of the pencil, Beckham demonstrated how to smudge the liner along the lower waterline, adding depth to the look.
