Jennie Garth Celebrates Daughter Fiona’s Prom Milestone

Jennie Garth and Peter Facinelli’s daughter Fiona recently attended her high school prom on Tuesday, June 4. The 52-year-old actress shared a photo on Instagram, celebrating this significant milestone for her 17-year-old daughter.

The Beverly Hills alum expressed her sentiments in the caption, writing, “This will be my second to last prom with my girls. It’s always so fun helping them to get dressed up and feeling beautiful. Enjoy every moment of the journey. It passes by so fast.”

Garth also noted that she did not hand make Fiona’s dress this year, unlike the dress she designed for her daughter Lola’s prom, but hinted, “Maybe next year!”

Fiona looked radiant in a black strapless maxi dress with a sweetheart neckline and a slit, smiling brightly for the camera. In another photo, she posed with a friend.

For those unfamiliar, Garth and her former husband Peter Facinelli share three daughters: Fiona, Lola, and Luca. Garth has been married to her second husband, Dave Abrams, since 2015, following her separation from Facinelli in 2012.

Shannen Doherty Reflects on Mentorship and Passion for Acting Inspired by Michael Landon

Shannen Doherty attributes her passion for acting to her former Little House on the Prairie co-star, the late Michael Landon. Reflecting on her early days in Hollywood on a recent episode of the Let’s Be Clear with Shannen Doherty podcast, alongside her mother, Rosa Elizabeth Doherty, she recalled landing the role of Jenny Wilder on the show’s final season at 11 years old (1982-83).

Doherty expressed deep gratitude for her time on Little House, stating that it remains the most significant experience of her career. She emphasized her close relationship with Landon, who portrayed Charles Ingalls, the patriarch of the family, until his passing in 1991. Describing Landon as a mentor who taught her invaluable lessons, Doherty reminisced about their bond and the lasting impact he had on her.

She highlighted how her experience on Little House and Landon’s guidance fueled her passion for acting, contrasting it with later roles that were less enjoyable or even toxic. Doherty praised Landon’s talent, kindness, and consideration, emphasizing his caring nature not only towards her but also her entire family.

Beyond Little House on the Prairie, Doherty went on to star in numerous television shows and movies, including Our House, Beverly Hills, 90210, Charmed, and Heathers.
