Lauren Dunn: Why I Blocked Married at First Sight Co-Stars
“Married at First Sight Australia’s Lauren Dunn Opens Up About Blocking Co-Stars Amid Alleged Betrayal”
Married at First Sight Australia participant Lauren Dunn recently addressed her decision to block the majority of her fellow cast members, shedding light on the reasons behind her actions. During a Q&A session with fans on her Instagram Story, Dunn revealed that she took this step after learning about a group chat initiated by her ex-partner. According to Dunn, certain individuals within this chat were allegedly scheming to undermine her by seeking compromising information and photos to share with the media.
Expressing her hurt and disappointment upon discovering the existence of this group chat, Dunn emphasized the conflicting messages she received from some cast members who continued to express admiration and support for her publicly while, unbeknownst to her, participating in negative discussions behind her back.
Acknowledging the prevalence of post-show drama and feeling warned about it beforehand, Dunn admitted that the betrayal still deeply affected her. Consequently, she opted to distance herself from the drama and cut off communication with those involved, resulting in an extensive block list.
Dunn clarified that her actions were not intended to be malicious but rather a means of prioritizing her mental well-being and avoiding unnecessary involvement in post-show controversies. She emphasized her disinterest in engaging with such drama beyond addressing questions from fans.
Despite the fallout, Dunn disclosed the individuals from the cast with whom she maintains contact, including Sara Mesa, Lucinda Light, Tristan Black, Timothy Smith, Jade Pywell, and Ridge Barredo.
